The department of English, was started as a service department in 2001, teaching English for Specific Purposes and General English (GE) to Undergraduate students It has spread its wings to be a full-fledged department, as B.A. English was started in 2015,

Studying English opens up a world of inspiration and creativity, while also developing skills that are essential for today’s global environment. It is a chance to discover how literature makes sense of the world through stories, poems, novels and plays. It is also a chance to shapes one’s ability to write, read, analyse and persuade.
Students in our B.A Program develop their skills of analysis and interpretation of self – expression. They receive a thorough introduction to essential literary genres and study the works of great canonical authors as well as contemporary ones.
